This Black Philanthropy Month, the New Haven Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. proudly honors our very own Soror E. Paulett Moore-Rogers, whose life beautifully exemplifies the transformative power of giving one's time.![]()
A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. since 1985, Soror Moore-Rogers has faithfully answered the call to serve with grace, humility, and unwavering commitment. As one of the founding members of the Delta Foundation of Greater New Haven Board of Directors in 2007, she helped establish a lasting legacy of philanthropy that continues to support our mission today. She also served as one of the Foundation's inaugural Financial Secretaries, providing steadfast leadership during its formative years.![]()

Her enduring service reminds us that some of the greatest gifts we can give are not measured in dollars but in hours, commitment, compassion, and love.![]()
Soror Moore-Rogers is truly a gem, and her life stands as a shining example of Black philanthropy in action.![]()
Thank you, Soror Moore-Rogers, for your extraordinary legacy of service and for showing us that when we give our time, we invest in generations to come.
This August, the New Haven Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. honors Black Philanthropy Month 2026. Theme: "Many Voices, One Movement"![]()
The New Haven Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. proudly honors Black Philanthropy Month, a global movement founded in 2011 by Dr. Jackie Bouvier Copeland to celebrate the long tradition of Black giving in all its forms: time, talent, treasure, and ties.
As a sisterhood committed to public service and social action, our chapter is Black philanthropy in action. Since 1913, Delta women have served our communities with consistency, pride, and excellence.![]()
Time - showing up for our programs, our members, and our neighbors. Talent - mentoring, teaching, and leading in every sector we touch. Treasure - funding scholarships, community initiatives, and Black-led causes. Ties - the sisterhood and community bonds that make our impact possible.![]()
This year's Black Philanthropy Month theme, Many Voices, One Movement, reflects exactly who we are: over 300,000 members strong across the globe, giving in different ways, united in one mission of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action.![]()
This August, we celebrate every Soror, every act of service, and every dollar given that keeps our movement moving forward.![]()
How are you honoring Black Philanthropy Month? We would love to share this virtual celebratory space with you.![]()
